About Bulgaria

Bulgaria is a country on the Balkan Peninsula of Southeastern Europe. It is bordered by Romania on the north, Serbia and Macedonia on the west, Greece and Turkey on the south, and the Black Sea on the east. The total territory of the country is 110 993 sq. km and Bulgaria ranks 15th in size among the other European countries.

Bulgaria is a republic with parlamentary form of government. The Constitution of teh republic of Bulgaria, adopted on 13th of July 1991, proclaims the country as an integral state with local government, and it contains no provision for autonomous territorial formations.

The Constitution of the Republic of Bulgaria is the supreme law of teh country and no other law can be inconsistent with it.
